Bio:

John received his Bachelor of Fine Art at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and studied at the Institute of European Design in Milan. John spent five years as the archivist and printer to artist, mentor and friend, Joel Meyerowitz. Since, he has worked on a variety of personal projects. In 2009 he founded the crowd-sourced social documentary project, Picture Black Friday. John's photos have appeared on book-covers both nationally and internationally, including the New York Times bestseller, Eat Pray Love. His editorial and Commercial clients have included: Sony, Intel, H-P, Oprah and New York Magazine to name a few. Most recently, John has focussed on making Short Documentary films; his most recent “46mm” has appeared in 6 Film Festivals, both nationally and Internationally.
